Best Tamales this side of the Rio Grand! Sell out of them daily. Have a full menu also. Great, friendly people and a staple of Southwest Detroit.
A friend recommended your place to purchase tamales for a function we were doing. 6 dozen miniature tamales were gone in 15 minutes! We even had one person from Mexico who said these were the best she has ever had. I have been recommending you to anyone I know. I can’t wait to get more!

Great service! Went there around 2 pm. Almost no one was there, so the service was very fast. Ordered two dozen tamales, and they were to our table almost instantly. Down side of going in the afternoon is there was less availability of different kinds of tamales. Only had regular and spicy pork. Still very good! Salsa had a great flavor. The hot was perfect. Not overbearing, and the salsa Verde had a little bit of kick. When going here, highly suggest calling in your order ahead of time. They can make any of their tamales if you call 1 hour ahead.

The Tamales are a must have, always hot and fresh...but don't forget about the dinners. The Chunky Beef Burritos are really good too! And the Barbacoa Tacos are a must try and my new favorite!
In my opinion, Eve's has the best tamales in Detroit. You can order them individually or by the dozen, dine-in or carry-out, but no matter they are sure to please. Honestly I could eat a dozen tamales solo with some hot salsa. Simple, tasty, never fails to deliver goodness. I'm sure there are other items on the menu but I'll never know. Just wish they were open longer hours!

For sure we will back the quantity and quality along with price was great for the family. The food was fresh and tamales moist! The nice owner even gave the kids a hug and free cookie. She even offered them a job when they get older. This is truly a family place and representative of what business should be and used to be. Thank you we will be back our kids loved it and couldn't stop talking about their future jobs lol!
